Miss Saigon was first produced on Londons West End in 1999. Composers Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonenberg, fresh from the success of their musical Les Miserables, conceived this tale of an America GI and his Vietnamese lover as a modern adaptation of Puccinis Madame Butterfly. The musical had long and successful runs both in London and on Broadway, where it opened in 1991 and ran for 4,092 perfomances. Sing six songs from this marvelous production with this splendid karaoke release.
