Music Minus One were the originators of the concept of backing recordings for musicians way back in 1950, and since that time they have built a comprehensive catalogue for vocalists including a huge classical and operatic selection, and many wonderful editions of jazz standards. 160+ titles are listed here in total.

The secret of MMOs success and longevity is the high standard of the recordings to be found of the CD that comes with the quality sheet music book. Capturing performances by top-drawer accompanists, bands, ensembles and orchestras, they come as near as possible to providing the user with the experience of performing alongside a professional musicians in the comfort of their own home or rehearsal facility. Two versions of each track are present, one featuring guide vocals and the other without so that you can be the soloist.

Soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor and bass-baritone ranges are all catered for amongst classical and operatic works, with many of the major composers featured in their own editions, as well as many compilations of lieder and arias.
