Catalogue No: iwAUL-309-trb

The 309A Bel Canto treble recorder produces a natural sounding, bright tone which is clear throughout its register (F above middle C to the G two octaves above). What they say

Aulos Treble recorders are among some of the easiest instruments to play due to their large size and fingering set up suitable for adults. Perfect for ensemble or solo playing, they have a strong full sound throughout the register.

Sitting between the smaller descant and larger tenor recorder in size, treble recorders feature a largely similar general shape to descant recorders but are around 50% larger. They occupy the f' - g''' register and are suitable for a vast repertoire. Treble recorders use the most common fingering system - Baroque fingering - which is taught in school classrooms and is the most commonly played by professional musicians.

Like most modern recorders it features a arched wind way; this not only provides resistance to the air flow which in turn allows for increased breath control, it also enables any condensation to drain more easily so as not to interfere with the sound.
