The Billie Eilish signature model in concert scale. With sapele top, back and sides, Fishman electronics and covered in Blohsh logos.
We're big fans of Billie's at Forsyths - she's that wonderful combination of pop enough to have large mainstream appeal yet with an commendable diverse and accomplished musical approach that even us oldies in the guitar department can appreciate it. But hey, you don't want to hear about us, you want to hear about the uke!
Underneath the multiple Blohsh logos that make no secret as to who's signature model it is, there's a good quality laminated sapele concert uke lurking. Although laminate it's fairly lightly built with a decent unplugged tone and plenty of volume. The Fishman electronics are a good move for this uke and you'll be able to play it out and about with no problems as well as practicing Ocean Eyes in your bedroom. The Fender headstock works well with the design as well and the sealed Kluson style tuners are better than the average mid price uke tuners.
It's a great collector piece for Eilish fans and a great ukulele in its own right - well done Fender!
As soon as she burst onto the scene with her 2015 single “Ocean Eyes”, it was clear that Billie Eilish is a force to be reckoned with. In the years since, she has established herself as a new kind of pop culture icon, taking the fashion and music industries by storm on her own terms. Billie’s meteoric ascent to pop stardom started with the ukulele, the first instrument she learned to play. Designed in collaboration with Billie Eilish, her Signature Ukulele is a stage-ready instrument that embodies Billie’s bold, unmistakable style. This concert ukulele is built with sapele top, back, and sides, featuring a matte black finish with Billie’s “blohsh™” symbol. It also includes a Fishman Kula preamp for those looking to plug in. Whether you’re an experienced musician or looking to pick up your first instrument, one thing is true: you can play anything on the ukulele.
