The Elkhart 100FHR student Flugelhorn features a third slide tuning trigger, which allows for adjustment to the intonation on the lower notes. This is a feature that was historically found only on professional level instruments.
What is more, the 100FHR has a warm smooth Flugel tone largely due to its rose-brass bell, which also gives it a distinct and attractive appearance in a lacquer finish.
