Lanikai Ukulele at Forsyth Music Shop

We stock Lanikai ukuleles for their high quality and consistency at affordable prices. They have been at the forefront of promoting the new wave of uke playing, with their slogan Lanikai Makes Me Happy. They even have a Lanikai Citizen Bill of Rights!

1) Lanikai is not rooted to a place or global position it is in the body of the citizen.

2) Citizens have the right to change their strings.

3) All citizens have the right to purse happiness, even when that means they may get muddy.

4) You have the responsibility to play in the key and style of your choosing.

5) Citizens of the four legged variety do not have the right to play fetch with your instrument, and should not receive treats for the day when they do.

6) All citizens must recognize their ukuleles have a personality, but the uke will never argue with you or tell you that you snore.

7) Citizens are advised to keep their ukulele in its case or gig bag when not playing, but are not required by law to do so.

8) It is a capital offense to juggle ukuleles while riding a unicycle.

9) Citizens have the right to play ukulele in the classroom as long as they bring one for everyone.

10) Citizens with uke in hand should be good, kind and teach the mantra of Lanikai to all that they come in contact with.

However, be reassured that the behind the zaininess exists a serious manufacturer of proper instruments for proper players. Come into our historic Manchester city centre store, est. 1857, to give them a try.
