An active bass with 24 frets with two jazz bass style pickups, and features 2 bands EQ.
A cracking bass for the money, with a nice tonal variety thanks to the PJ pickup set and the active EQ. Versatile and affordable - so a pretty good deal!
With a gorgeous flame maple cap and hi spec Markbass preamp the Cort Action DLX is a stunning instrument both in look and sound. Amazingly affordable to boot, it's a great choice for a versatile studio bass or a cool live instrument.
Excellent short scale bass for a younger player or the vertically challenged. With a poplar body, Canadian hard maple neck and a Powersound PSDXH1-4 pickup.
Why this bass isn't another £300 more expensive is beyond us. Bartolini pickups, a Markbass preamp, that amazing ozangkol, mahogany and maple triple threat. Stunning.
30” scale length; “C”-shaped maple neck One P Bass split single-coil middle pickup, one J Bass® single-coil bridge pickup 9.5”-radius Pau Ferro fingerboard with 19 medium jumbo frets Four-saddle bridge; four-bolt neck plate; vintage-style tuning machines Master Volume and Tone controls; three-way pickup switch
If you want a bass that pops, get this guy. The pickups are revoiced to sound like the original 60s style single coils, so you get that classic tone. The super comfy mid 60s C profile neck has a satin finish for ease of playability, and to add to the classic vibe, the fingerboard has vintage style frets. Classic.
This bass sounds great. It obviously looks great, and you'd need to come in (unless you trust me on this) but honestly, the tone is cracking. It's got a great low end, it sparkles, the mids are fantastic. It's just bloody brilliant.
The signature model for Budge Magraw of The Cesarians. A deep 5” (12.cm) body with an arched spruce top and maple back and sides in hi-gloss black. This is one of a small batch of ex-Frankfurt guitar show Hofners that we're selling as new with full warranty but have small marks on them hence the special prices - we've tried to show any marks as best...
Hofner seem to have upped their game when it comes to the Ignition Series - this bass really punches above it's weight. The baseball bat neck is a throwback to a different time, and so is the tone and look of this cracker. The short scale neck does mean it's super easy to play, and it's so lightweight that you'll forget your holding it.
Based on the classic violin basses from the 1970s, with a hollow body and wooden bridge. For those who love that band from Liverpool.
