About The Event:

Join us for an evening of jazz favourites featuring the talented Edward Harris-Brown Trio. Edward Harris-Brown, a versatile pianist skilled in both classical and jazz, leads the trio. Edward has won numerous competitions and will be studying at the Royal Academy of Music in the Autumn. He is joined by Oliver Pitman on bass guitar, a multi-instrumentalist and singer heading to the Royal College of Music, and Will Savage on drums, who will be attending the Royal Northern School of Music.

About The Edward Harris-Brown Trio

The Edward Harris-Brown Trio is Edward (piano), Oliver Pitman (bass) and Will Savage (drums). All are in their last year at the Chetham’s School of Music.

Edward is equally at home playing both classical and jazz. In the last few years he has won most of the school’s classical piano competitions and recently won the National European Piano Teachers Association Competition. He has been Chetham’s primary jazz pianist as well as playing in the National Youth Jazz Collective for the last 3 years. In the Autumn he will start at the Royal Academy of Music studying with Joanna MacGregor.

Oliver is a multi-instrumentalist horn and bass player as well as classical and jazz singer. He will be going to the Royal College of Music.

Will is a drummer and percussionist who will be moving to the Royal Northern School of Music.
