Ahead of her ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London) music performance diploma examination later in August, Fiona Morganhauser performs the same programme here at Forsyth in memory of her mother Kathryn Whelpton, who died on 11 June 2011.

All of the pieces in the programme have a personal meaning for Fiona: the Bach is included in honour of one of her first teachers, Hephzibah Menuhin; the Chopin and Brahms are pieces she studied under Alfred Kitchin at Trinity College London; and the Debussy was among her mother's favourites works.

Retiring collection for Nordoff Robbins, the UK's leading independent music therapy charity.
