Discover ABRSM’s new guitar repertoire during a half day of practical demonstrations and discussions exploring a variety of musical approaches to teaching the music set for Grades 1-8.
Hear performances of music from all grades, come away with practical teaching tips, and use the opportunity to connect with other guitar teachers. Refreshments and a goodie bag are included.
This is a free event! Bookings will be taken on a first come first serve basis via the ABRSM's Eventbrite listing.
All attendees will be eligible on the day for a 15% discount off the ABRSM's new volumes of Guitar Exam Pieces for Grades 1-5.
Helen Sanderson became the first female guitarist to head a British Conservatoire department when she joined the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama's team as Head of Guitar Performance in September.
As well as having a prestigious performing career, Helen is a composer, arranger and sought after masterclass artist, adjudicator and international jury member for competitions such as BBC Young Musician of the Year. She is also an entrepreneurial educator, committed to nurturing young guitarists throughout the UK.
