We're kicking May off on the 8th with a joint performance by Aaron Le Maistre and Stanley Butcher, playing works for two pianos, and a piano solo.
The programme includes Rachmaninoff’s Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos, as well as works by Bach-Busoni, Ginastera, and Rachmaninoff.
Both Aaron and Stanley are students at the Royal Northern College of Music, where they study with Kathryn Stott.

Join us on the 17th May for an evening of Beethoven. Hear his final five piano sonatas, performed by five brilliant young pianists studying under internationally acclaimed pianist Graham Scott at the Royal Northern College of Music.
This unique event offers a rare chance to hear Beethoven’s profound late sonatas in one captivating evening. These works span lyrical introspection, passionate intensity, and groundbreaking musical innovation, culminating in the monumental "Hammerklavier" Sonata (Op. 106).

At the end of May we will be joined by the James Pearson Trio for a SOLD OUT show on the 22nd May with a spellbinding tribute to the legendary Oscar Peterson as part of the manchester jazz festival.

We also have a couple of events booked for later this year, starting on the 15th June with The Lindow Ensemble for a wonderful evening of classical music, with a programme full of beautiful and varied pieces by Elgar, Alberga, Mozart, Telemann, and Ireland.
Entry to this event is by donation, with a suggested minimum of £6 per person.
All proceeds will go to the Olympias Music Foundation, a Manchester-based charity that helps children from all backgrounds access music education and opportunities. Your generosity will support their brilliant work bringing music into the lives of young people in our community.
