The violin part was edited by Wolf-Dieter Seiffert, who published further Urtext editions by Mozart in Henle Verlag (including all sonatas for piano and violin, HN 77, 78, 79, 80). The cadenzas and introductions are by the Mozart expert, violin virtuoso and university professor Kurt Guntner. The piano reduction was written by Mozart expert and bassist Siegfried Petrenz. He strives for a good-sounding, technically undemanding piano movement, which stands out clearly from the widespread, based on orchestral replacement vocal excerpts. This also takes into account the typical teaching situation, which often requires simpler sentences.
