This extensive collection contains the representative melodies of most European nations complete with North and Latin American songs and dances. There are such popular pieces as La paloma , Valcik na rozloucenou (Farewell Waltz) or the traditional Tam dole u reky Down There By The River) as well as a Brazilian dance or Doudlebska Polka . All the dances are easy to perform to well-sounding arrangements by Miroslav Cisar for three trumpets. The songs are arranged so that the second voice may be less technically demanding for the player so that the even beginners can handle the third voice. Three French horns or three clarinets can also easily perform the three-voice score: with slight alterations, some of the songs can be played by other instruments.
