When you order with us we hope that your item is just right for you but on occasion this might not be the case. If you should need to return an item that you have purchased, the following outlines our policy.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges
We provide you a 7-day return policy: You can return any item unopened and in its original packaging within 7 days of receiving the item for a refund, less shipping and handling charges, with the exception of 'copyable media' including books, sheet music, CDs, DVDs and computer software. In these instances, we only refund if the item is physically defective, has been misleading in it's description or if it has been incorrectly supplied. For returns where the item is simply unsuitable for purpose, at our discretion we offer a store credit to the value of the returned goods less shipping and handling fees. This is to be used only with Forsyth Brothers Ltd. either in the shop or on our website in the form of a voucher code.
Please be aware that, in order to reduce card fraud, we can only refund card payments back onto the card that the item was purchased with.
To request a return please contact us on 0161 8343281, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the phrase "Return:" clearly marked in the Subject line. When you contact us, please be sure to include:
- your order number
- details of the product you would like to return
- the reason for the return.
You will be given the correct return address and reference number. No returns will be accepted without an authorised returns number.
Packages for return must include the original receipt or invoice, otherwise they cannot be processed for return. You may want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns.
Should you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone or email within 7 days of completing your purchase with details of your order and the reason you wish to cancel. The same policies apply to cancelations of 'copyable media' (see above) which mean regret we cannot offer a refund on these items unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
It is entirely at our discretion whether it is possible to cancel an order for items that are printed on demand, specially imported for you or specially made for you (usually dependant on the expenses already incurred).
