In 1967, he teamed up with Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim for the first of two collaborations that found Ol Blue Eyes working within the bossa nova style, which Jobim helped pioneer a decade earlier. That first record, Francis Albert Sinatra & Antonio Carlos Jobim, earned the pair a Grammy nomination and critical praise.
