Hits Of Cole Porter
Many great songwriters emerged from New Yorks Tin Pan Alley in the early 20th century but few have had the lasting legacy of Cole Porter. He composed remarkable scores for Broadway and films, starting with his first stage hit, Paris, in 1928. Among his many great musicals were Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate, and Can-Can. The songs contained in these productions were beloved by theater audiences and many of them would later be covered by popular artists like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Ethel Merman. Sing eleven of Mr. Porters greatest works with this affectionately rendered karaoke collection.
