DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS: - its rare when a motion picture yields the material for a stunning new Broadway Musical. The path is usually different. This sparkling, new hit has taken Broadway by storm. First featuring John Lithgow (3rd planet From The Sun star) and now Jonathan Pryce (Oliver, and a host of other Hollywood hits) co-starring with Norbert Leo Butz, the funniest man on the Broadway Stage. The music by a new writer is infectious and fun and perfectly suited to the action, a pair of con-men working the new divorcess and widows on the French Riviera. You may remember Steve Martin and Michael Caines great performances in the film (1988). Heres a still better and musical take on these merry goings-on.
