Hits Of My Fair Lady
When My Fair Lady first hit Broadway in 1956, New York Times theatre critic Brooks Atkinson hailed it as "one of the best musicals of the century." With unforgettable songs by Frederick Loewe and Alan Jay Lerner, the musical was a gigantic hit, running for 2,717 performances, a record for the time. Based on George Bernard Shaws play Pygmalion: A Play in Five Acts, it tells the story of professor Henry Higgins and his attempt to turn a Cockney flower girl into a member of high society. The show won the Tony for Best Musical and has seen numerous revivals over the last few decades. Sing sixteen songs from the classic production with this marvelous karaoke collection!
