The Hits of Mel Torme
Known as the Velvet Fog, Mel Torme was a jazz singer who also made a name for himself as an actor, a composer, a musician and author. He began his solo career in 1947. A stint at New York Citys Copacabana club moved a local disc jockey to give him his famous nickname which has stuck ever since. (Although, interestingly enough, Torme hated it.) We have lovingly recreated ten of the legendary crooners songs for your singing pleasure.
