There are two ranges of Schimmel upright piano
Classic Series - Instruments ranging from just over £7,000 to around £13,000
Konzert Series - range from around £11,500 to around £17,000
Despite being Schimmel's smallest upright the C116T possesses a sound of greater depth than most rivals 130cm uprights! With this instrument you can really appreciate its tonal superiority over that of the mass produced instruments by the likes of Yamaha, Kawai, Kemble etc. The treble sings more brightly whilst its bass has more depth. The ideal combination of reliability, playability, tonal quality and elegance.
A classic upright by Schimmel, the C120T is the larger brother to the C116T and has many similar characteristics with the added benefit of its larger size. Distinguished by its richness in tonal quality and harmonic structure. The same instrument is available in a simpler case design known as the C120I.
The tallest of the Schimmel classic range, the Schimmel C124T has an exceptionally rich tone and a deep and clear sound.
The smallest of the Konzert range, Schimmel's K122E exemplifies Schimmel's range of upright pianos. A truly superb instrument that can be used for recitals. The K122E is an excellent all rounder. Only available in black
A most precise instrument in terms of sound and touch Although larger than the K122 in height the K125, by design, does not have a larger sound. Instead the intention was to produce an instrument with an exceptionally clear tone in all registers. The length of tone in the treble is truly impressive and the overall tonal clarity unsurpassed by any other instrument. An audiophile's dream! To compliment the sound the action of the K125 also has been designed for precision with some of the finest specified tolerances. Available in black and mahogany as well as a range of exotic woods.
The Schimmel K132 combines many of the characteristics and talents of the K125 and K122 with a larger overall sound. This piano is naturally compared to the Bösendorfer 130CL, Steinway model K , larger Bechstein uprights and Yamaha SU7.
Designed specifically for the demanding environment of Schools, Churches, Theatres, Dance Studios etc, the Schimmel Studio range are the only purpose designed instruments. They are robust, manoeuvrable, secure and safe. The size of the C112 Studio is low enough for the pianist to easily see over the top of the instrument and yet produces an unbelievably large sound. Its taller brother, the C120 studio benefits from even better sound and touch. Both instruments sport fixed full length music desks for many books, sturdy handles that double as protective bumpers, purpose designed rigid castor cradles with brakes and soft tyres, security locks to fall and top.
