Bechstein Grand Pianos
Bechstein was established in 1853 by Carl Bechstein, four years after the death of Frederic Chopin and right in the midst of the romantic period. Both Franz Liszt and Claude Debussy were openly in admiration of the company’s instruments and fans of Bechstein pianos from the recording generation include Wilhelm Furtwangler, Wilhelm Kempff, Wilhelm Backhaus, and Walter Gieseking - all great musicians whose interpretations are marked by a nobility shared with the sound of Bechstein.
Bechstein continues to produce some of the best pianos available on the market today and Forsyths are proud to be a selected partner.
