January isn’t just about the sale.  We have just received our first piano from Yamaha’s new CX series of grand pianos, a C2X in Black Polyester, and we are very excited to report that it is a significant upgrade on the previous model. The new piano retains the class leading action of the C2, but Yamaha has utilised a thickened back frame, re-modelled soundboard, better quality strings, and the same hammer felt as the CFX concert grand to produce dramatic improvements in the sound.   Having supplied one of last year’s special C3XA models to a college, we had high expectations of this new CX range but we have genuinely been very impressed by the quality of sound this new C2X produces.

The casework design benefits from some carefully executed re-styling including new legs and pedal lyre, and a new sweeping cheek profile.

These enhancements have been made to the entire line-up of sizes, with a whole new range from C1X right up to the C7X.  For those looking for a great deal on the out-going C3, we still have one left in our sale but be quick if you are interested as someone is bound to snap it up!
