1972 C. M. Fleeson Classical With the international market for classical guitars so heavily dominated by Spanish makers, it’s a pleasure to be able to offer an instrument from one of the UK’s few revered makers. Martin Fleeson was best known for his association with John Williams, with Williams using Fleeson guitars throughout the tail end of the 70s. This Spruce and Rosewood example is far earlier and relatively plain in appearance, but still a phenomenal sounding guitar – one of the nicest classics we’ve heard in a long time. Generally excellent condition, the only exception being an open seam split to the table running from bridge to end block. Our luthier has inlayed a new piece of spruce into the split and French polished over to make it as discreet as possible. £1199
