Hutchins Electric Guitars

Nobly flying the flag for the strange and unusual in the guitar world is Gary Hutchins, the designer behind the fabulous Hutchins brand. Never heard of a Grimshaw archtop - doesn’t matter, Gary has and there’s a replica to prove it.  Nostalgic for old Regal and Harmony archtops but don’t want to pay the rapidly escalating vintage prices? Seen Control recently and fancy a Vox Phantom for those Ian Curtis  moments? Hutchins could well be the answer.

And that’s before it gets really wierd: double necks, triple necks, fretless guitars, nylon strung Thinline Teles, electric mandolins and mandolas, the list goes on and on. Come in, have a laugh, try it, laugh again, start to think how cool you’ll look onstage with one, stop laughing, start looking furtively at that credit card… you know it makes sense
